It gives actual document name and reference in the Annapolis MD Hall of Records. One of these two records I believe is the one where I first saw the reference to her being a widow. 150117 During the 1989-1993 time frame, I did many trips to the Maryland Hall of Records in Annapolis and one of those times I found a record where Rachel Landing indentured one of her sons as a "hat maker"? and she was listed as a widow. The record must have been dated 20 Feb 1829. I cannot find a copy of that record anywhere.4 |
